Individuals age 17 or older and lacks a secondary (high school) credential or functions below the 12th grade level in any of the basic academic areas including reading, math, and ability to read, write and understand English are eligible to enroll in Mankato Adult Basic Education services. We were recognized by KEYC TV for our innovative Adult Career Pathways Partnership.

The Community Education Advisory Council includes representatives from community and local government. Citizen input is important in providing high quality lifelong learning opportunities offered through the department and the Advisory Council assists by seeking feedback and providing information. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of the month in September, November, January, March and May.
