Early Learning

MAPS Preschool serves students in 4 elementary buildings, as well as the Family Learning Center and Early Childhood Center. The program has a four-star rating from Parent Aware, which indicates that Mankato Area Public Schools is committed to providing high quality education and staff support. Individuals age 17 or older and lacks a secondary (high school) credential or functions below the 12th grade level in any of the basic academic areas including reading, math, and ability to read, write and understand English are eligible to enroll in Mankato Adult Basic Education services.  We were recently recognized by KEYC TV for our innovative Adult Career Pathways Partnership.
