FAMILY ACADEMY

Family Academy workshops give families tips and tools to help their children succeed in school. Mankato Area Public Schools believe families play an important and necessary role in their child's education. We value Parents as Partners! Family Academy workshops engage families in a variety of ways to build on the partnership between schools, families and the community.

Tuesday, October 26, 2021 

5:45-6:45 pm sessions:

  • Education Begins at Birth! An Overview of MAPS Early Learning Services (birth-8 years)
  • Teaching Students to Bounce Back: Fostering Resiliency for a Brighter Future (K-12th grade)

7:00-8:00 pm sessions:

  • Learning Together: Indigenous History, Culture and Place (Families, teachers and community members welcome and encouraged to join!)

  • Assessment 101: An Overview of the Assessments Students Take at MAPS (K-12th grade)
