Middle School After School

At Dakota Meadows & Prairie Winds Middle School

Middle School After School (MSAS) clubs offer a fun opportunity for students in grades 6-8 to socialize and make new friends in a low-pressure environment.

Held at Prairie Winds and Dakota Meadows Middle Schools, these theme-based clubs meet weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:20 to 5 pm, supervised by qualified staff. The focus is on building social and emotional skills while enjoying time outside the classroom. Registration for Fall MSAS opens in September, with the semester running from September 29 through December 11 on school days.

Mankato Area Public Schools Community Education provides a variety of enrichment course offerings for school age students designed to expand knowledge, gain and improve skills and also provide opportunities to explore new areas of interest.

Our youth recreation department offers a wide range of sports including tennis, t-ball, basketball, volleyball, golf, and track & field and much more! There is no better way to introduce your child to the sport world, make new friends and learn the fundamentals than by signing up for one of our many youth programs offered year round by  Mankato Community Education.
